Little kitchen ants: I accidentally ate them, now what?

Nutrologist Isolda Prado, director of Abran (Brazilian Association of Nutrology), explains:

So, contrary to popular expression, it is not by eating ants that we will have a better vision. But what about hygiene?

Although some people believe that eating ants is harmless, it is important to consider that these small insects travel a long way to reach their food. They often pass through walls, dirty floors, among other less hygienic places. Therefore, it is always better to be careful.
