Animation will begin airing on the 50th anniversary of man's arrival on the Moon
The Disney Junior channel debuts this Saturday, 20, the new original production of Disney Junior Latin America Nivis, friends from another world, from 6pm. The series tells the story of the Nivis family, from the planet Nivilux, whose fate intersects with that of a human family – the Friends – when they accidentally arrive on Earth.
The release date for the animation was chosen for two reasons. On July 20th, Friend's Day and the 50th anniversary of the arrival of man on the Moon are celebrated. In the series, the values of friendship and discovery are also central themes.
Friend's Day was born on July 20, 1969 by Argentine thinker Enrique Febbraro. He was inspired by the arrival of man on the moon as a symbol of brotherhood among people of all nationalities, races and creeds. That day, when the Apollo 11 crew landed, Febbraro wrote thousands of letters to people around the world and received thousands of responses.
In Nivis, friends from another world, friendship occupies a central place. The human family – composed of a writer and designer named Felipe (Vinicius Campos), his daughter Isabella (Lourdes Errante) and his father Amadeo (Gustavo Masó) – meets the Nivis family and quickly creates an emotional bond with them, which will lead them to live moments unforgettable.
Thus, history shows that friendship can arise in the most unexpected situations, that everything is more fun when shared with friends and that we are able to form deep bonds with beings completely different from we.
