Did you know Wolverine exists?

Sharp nose, a lot of strength, a quarrelsome temperament and powerful claws. Any resemblance to a famous mutant is no coincidence. We're really talking about Wolverine! But, this one is not in comics, on movie screens, in speech and does not enchant the girls. For scientists, he is the

greed greed, mammal of the mustelid family – a relative of the otters and the giant otter – and owner of the characteristics that inspired the creation of the fictional hero.

greed greed it is popularly known as wolverine, glutton or Wolverine. It is an animal found in the northern hemisphere, both in America and on the European continent. It has a thick layer of brown fur, which protects it from the cold and snow. Visibly strong, it measures about forty centimeters in height and weighs up to thirty kilos.

The real Wolverine, like the mutant hero, is also of few friends, loves a fight, and is very brave. He can chase away foxes and wolves from animal carcasses, a dish that is on his menu. Also, he likes to eat poultry eggs and fruits. Your claws are not from adamantium – the metallic alloy invented for the fictional Wolverine – but they are extremely powerful, used with great skill to dig holes in the ground in search of rodents and to build shelters.

Tireless like the hero, the real Wolverine is also a wanderer. Sometimes, he walks up to fifteen kilometers without resting, and after many months he may move almost 400 kilometers away from the place where he was born.

Real wolverines, like the famous one, aren't very sociable, but they like to date. However, in real life, males only stay with females in the reproductive season, to have the offspring safely. Among males there is no tolerance. They don't share the same space.

The Wolverine we find in the wild is accused of attacking domestic animals such as sheep. Therefore, it is usually the target of hunters who are unhappy with their practice and who make a coat out of their skin.

Now, when someone comes to tell you that they saw Wolverine live and in color, you can ask if it was in a zoo!
