  • Hide and seek: the goal is to hide and not be found by the child you are looking for. The child who is to look for must keep his eyes covered and count to a certain number while the others hide. To win, the kid you're looking for must find all the hidden ones and run to the base.
  • Marble: colored and made of glass, they are thrown on the dirt floor by the boys. The objective is to hit the opponent's ball to gain points or the teammate's own ball.

  • Flying kites: kites, also known as kites, are made of wooden sticks and paper. Colored, they are pranced (released) by the boys on windy days. With one line, the boys can direct and juggle in the sky.
  • slingshot: also known as bodoques, they are made of wood and rubber branches. Boys use stones to hit targets (cans, bottles and other objects).
  • Top: the top game is still very successful, especially in the interior regions of Brazil. Made of wood, the tops are rotated on the ground using a string that is wound and pulled with force. Many children paint their tops. To make the game more exciting, many boys juggle tops as they spin. The best known is to hold the top in the palm of your hand while it is running.
  • Collective games with music, challenges, rhymes and interaction: examples: “Lollipop that beats, beats”, “Job's slaves”, “Mouth of oven”, “Passa ring”, “Tri-cornered hat” and “Hot potato”.
