NAME:
Gabi and Riki went to play skating. She was delighted with the pirouettes people did. Gabi decided he was going to learn to pirouette too. So he asked Riki not to let her get hurt. He learned to stay on the skates pretty quickly. But Riki was off balance and she saved him from an ugly tumble. The boy was scared and embarrassed. He said he wasn't going to skate anymore.
– And you won't be able to do pirouettes! – She told her friend.
Gabi was hurt and the two went home without speaking. Until Ben came to talk to Riki.
-Riki, Gabi wants to learn to do pirouettes and this is very important to her! – Ben said.
Riki apologized to her friend. But she said:
- I only apologize if you practice pirouettes with me.
And he gladly accepted!
A few days later, Gabi was already doing beautiful pirouettes and everyone stopped to watch her.
Riki realized that her friend struggled until she got what she wanted. She was persevering and never gave up on her dream.
