Do you know __________ the planting of trees contributes to lessening the effects of air pollution? In order to develop, trees need carbon dioxide (CO2). Thus, the more trees, the greater the retention of this gas, which is good for plants, but, in high doses, harmful to the planet. Planting trees, therefore, is great for air quality and preserving forests is even better, because in together, the trees are able to intercept even heavy metals present in the air – they are true filters natural!
